West Runton is a small cliff-top village situated approximately two miles between the traditional seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham. The beach is pebbles and sand with rock pools at low tide. The location is ideal for those who want to use their car as little as possible because the beach and village shops, pub, excellent eating places, a golf course, a Shire Horse Centre with horse riding are all close at hand. The village is well served by public transport with a small railway station providing access to The Bittern Line.
