Good sailing can be enjoyed at Brancaster, Blakeney and Burnham Overy Staithe, with splendid country and coastal walks also. Brancaster and neighbouring Brancaster Staithe are lovely coastal villages, which have much to offer, making them ideal holiday locations at any time of the year. There is a wonderful sandy beach, numerous coastal and countryside walks, a golf course, a tennis court and excellent sailing from Brancaster Staithe. A little further along the coast there are many interesting bird reserves including Scolt Head, Titchwell and Holme next the Sea.

The village of Stibbard offers visitors a chance to enjoy a peaceful, rural, countryside holiday whilst being within easy reach of the splendid North Norfolk coast. There is an excellent choice of places to visit in the area as well as cycling and walking along quiet lanes and footpaths. The village sign is a unique monument known affectionately as "Fred", a ploughman welded out of agricultural implements and a soldier's tin helmet. There is a Pub/Thai restaurant at Guist Bottom one mile away and further amenities are available at Fakenham, which is four miles away, and Holt eight miles. Map Ref: B5
