Situated on the banks of the River Nar, the village of Narborough is located between the historic market towns of Swaffham and Kings Lynn, both of which provide good shopping, pubs and restaurants. It is eighteen miles from the seaside resort of Hunstanton, with the bird reserves along the north-west coast also close by. There is excellent fishing at Narborough Trout Farm and Pentney Lakes. These two cottages are part of a terrace that was formerly used to accommodate the barge horses and watermen who worked the River Nar. Now, newly renovated with modern interiors, the cottages offer river views and on-site fishing (licence required) on the owner’s riverbank and lake.
