The lovely Georgian town of Holt has a charm and character all of its own and boasts a selection of interesting shops, including many antique shops, as well as good restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. On the edge of the town the Green Flag awarded Holt Country Park, has over 100 acres of woodland to discover with many organised events and there is also excellent bird watching in the area. The coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley are just four miles away with the sandy beach at Sheringham a further 2 miles. Map Ref: A6 

Owl Cottage is situated on the Hempstead road, on the south side of Holt and within a short walking distance of the town centre. It is ideally located for exploring the North Norfolk coastline. Originally a former railway cottage built in traditional brick and flint, it has been extended and tastefully renovated to provide spacious family accommodation with an enclosed patio garden.
