North Walsham is a market town with a rich and varied history. At one time it was a prosperous wool town with the second tallest church tower in Norfolk, as well as being at the centre of a peasants' revolt and home to a school attended by Admiral Lord Nelson. Now it is a thriving community with shops clustered around the old market cross in the centre of the town. It is midway between Cromer and Stalham, so provides easy access to the North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads. The sandy beach at Mundesley is just four miles and there are many places to visit in the area, sure to appeal to all ages. Map Ref: B7

The Long Barn is an attractive Grade II listed thatched barn, which provides spacious, attractively furnished family accommodation. It is situated on the outskirts of the town and the owners have included silver membership to a nearby sports centre offering swimming, spa and sauna facilities as well as squash and tennis free for two adults and payable at £8 per adult and £4 per child for four paying guests.
