The riverside village of Thurne lies at the centre of the Norfolk Broads and is an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful part of Norfolk. The village has a white painted windpump which is one of the most distinctive of Broadland windmills. Upton Fen and Ranworth Broad Nature Reserves and The Weaver's Way footpath are close by, and there is boat hire available in the area. Map Ref:C7

This mid 19th century cottage is quietly situated and has superb views from the rear windows over the marshes and towards the river. The interior is cosy and comfortable and has character features including beamed ceilings and pamment tiled floors. Pub: 100 yds
