Brundall lies on the North bank of The River Yare, which provides excellent fishing as well as boat hire for exploring the waterways. If you want to leave the car at home for the day, you can take the train into Norwich or perhaps enjoy a day at the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, which is ten miles away. There are nature reserves nearby which offer good bird watching, and there are plenty of walks and cycle routes in the area. There are shops, and pubs which serve food, in the village. Map Ref: C7

Notes: Lavender Cottage is fitted with a water softener and so filtered drinking water is only available in the kitchen. There are steep stairs in the property leading to a very small landing area and then two steps into bedrooms 1 and 2. There is a stairgate available for use at the bottom of the stairs but young children must be supervised.
