Roughton provides an ideal base for exploring the coast and countryside of North Norfolk. The seaside town of Cromer is only two miles away and has a lovely sandy beach, pier with its own theatre and traditional seafront entertainment. The area is rich in history and heritage with many museums and fine houses including Felbrigg Hall, which is only one mile away. There are lovely walks to be found close by, ranging from National Trust parkland to cliff-top walks as well as along country lanes and footpaths.
