Thornage and Little Thornage are neighbouring villages located in the Glaven Valley, one of the most attractive areas of rural North Norfolk. The area is ideal for walking and cycling and just a ten-minute drive from the coastal village of Blakeney, with Sheringham seven miles away. Holt is just two miles and offers good quality shops and eating places and Holt Country Park, where you can enjoy waymarked walks and nature trails. There is a pub in the neighbouring village of Hunworth, which serves good food. Map Ref: A5

Set in the peaceful hamlet of Little Thornage, Honeysuckle Cottage is a charming detached holiday home created from two small brick and flint cottages. The original cottages have been carefully restored and are linked at ground floor level by an opening between the sitting and dining rooms. The pretty bedrooms, served by separate staircases at each end of the property, retain the original layout. A lane leads from the cottage to the ford and footbridge over the beautiful River Glaven. Shop: 1.5 miles Pub: 0.5 miles
