Ludham is a pretty Broadland village between Wroxham and Potter Heigham. The village has a splendid flint church and shops and pubs. There are excellent walks in the area including nearby How Hill. Norwich and Great Yarmouth are both about a half an hour's drive away. Boat enthusiasts will enjoy the sight of one of the last remaining wherries as well as the heritage sailing fleet based at Womack Staithe. Map Ref: C7

Many years ago trading wherries sailed along the waterways, and took malted barley from the large Maltings near Womack Staithe.
