East Harling lies close to the start of the Peddar's Way, a long distance footpath which, together with the adjoining Norfolk Coast Path, provides a 93 mile route of outstanding diversity through some of the best of Norfolk's scenery. The village provides an ideal opportunity to visit the many attractions of both Norfolk and Suffolk. Nature lovers will enjoy visits to nearby Thetford Forest and Knettishall Heath Country Park.
