Houghton St. Giles is a small hamlet located in a lovely part of rural North Norfolk. It is surrounded by farmland and is home to the 14th century Roman Catholic Shrine, known as The Slipper Chapel. Neighbouring Little Walsingham has been a centre for pilgrimage for centuries and still has the atmosphere of a medieval village with an ancient gateway leading to the ruins of the priory. Garden: Fully enclosed attractive garden with large patio and garden furniture. Steps lead to a sloping lawned garden. Outside w.c. and washbasin.
Parking: For two cars.
Heating: N.S.H. Starter pack of fuel for open fire provided in winter months.
Notes: Bedroom 1 is a landing bedroom and all of the first floor rooms lead directly from it. There are also steep stairs in keeping with a property of this age. No smoking in the cottage.
