Burnham Thorpe is a quiet little village famous for being the birthplace of Admiral Lord Nelson, and there are many reminders in the area of his important part in its history, particularly in the church and the well known Lord Nelson pub. Burnham Market is just one and a half miles away, and has a good selection of quality shops, as well as pubs and restaurants.
