Wells is a popular town set behind a small harbour on the beautiful North Norfolk coast and was voted the second best seaside resort in Britain 2006 by Holiday Which magazine. It is possible to travel from the town by narrow-gauge steam railway to the sandy beach, which is backed by pine woods. The beach is one mile from the town and has a car park and tea rooms. It is an ideal location for a holiday at any time of the year and the area is famed for ornithology and has many excellent walks. Amenities in the town include amusements, pubs, restaurants and many interesting shops. Map Ref: A5                                

The Mews is an unusual, spacious single level property which has been formed from the old Coach House and Stables that were originally part of Monteagle House. Approached via a pretty courtyard-style garden, the property has character and charm with the additional benefit of an enclosed rear garden. Light and spacious living accommodation, a great location within walking distance of the quay and town amenities and good for a holiday at any time of the year. Shop: 400 yards  Pub: 175 yards

Entrance Hall has cupboard with washing machine, coat storage
Sitting Room a double height room with vaulted ceiling and original beams  and display platform (private and no access), TV, DVD player, video, CD player, electric fire, dining table and chairs
Kitchen another high vaulted room with electric cooker, fridge with icebox, microwave, and dishwasher
Bedroom 1 with a double bed
Bedroom 2 with twin beds
Bathroom with period-style bath, over-bath shower, washbasin and w.c.

Garden: Fully enclosed rear garden with astro turf, patio area, summerhouse with table, chairs and power, garden furniture, barbecue and children’s toys ( these are provided for the enjoyment of the children, you are asked to ensure that they are cleaned and tidied ready for the next young guests before departing from the property).

Notes: The accommodation is on one level however please be aware that there are some internal steps within the property which may make it unsuitable for toddlers and people with mobility problems
