With its lovely sandy beach and traditional seaside atmosphere, Sea Palling is a perfect location for a coastal holiday. On a summer's day you may like a swim in the sea, a cycle ride through the country lanes, a boat trip on the nearby Norfolk Broads or a visit to one of the many attractions nearby. In winter what better than an invigorating walk along the beach followed by a warming drink inside your cosy cottage. The village has a shop, post office and two pubs. Map Ref: B8

Hawthorne Cottage is a delightful, newly renovated, 1700’s thatched cottage with a large garden leading onto open fields. It occupies a quiet position in the village on a no through road and within easy walking distance of the beach. The property retains many original features and would make an ideal family or group holiday destination. Shop: 200 yards Pub: 200 yards

Kitchen with range cooker with gas hob and electric oven, SMEG fridge with icebox, farmhouse sink, dishwasher, small table and two chairs, archway leading to Dining Room with comfortable seating, table and chairs
Utility Room with compact washing machine and microwave
Bread Oven/Snug Room with children’s toys, small children’s table, chairs and bean bags
Bedroom 1 with a single bed
Bathroom with bath, over-bath thermostatic mixer shower, washbasin and w.c.

First Floor: this is split into two separate areas which are at opposite ends of the property and accessed via different staircases.

Bedroom 4 with zip and link 2’ 6” twin beds which can be made into a 5` double (please state preference on booking) door leading to
Bedroom 5 with a king-size bed En-Suite Shower Room with shower cubicle, washbasin and w.c. (this room has sloping ceilings and reduced headroom above the w.c.)

Garden: Open plan front lawned garden. Rear garden enclosed and lawned with patio area, garden furniture and barbecue.

Also Provided: Towels (but not Beach Towels), books and games, DVDs and CDs. Telephone for incoming calls only. Two travel cots (please bring your own bedding) and two highchairs are available.
Notes: Bedrooms 2 & 3 are accessed via a steep staircase with a handrail which is narrow and has low head room at the bottom, which may make it unsuitable for people with mobility concerns. Bedroom 4 & 5 are accessed via a steep staircase with a handrail and no twists. The cottage is a period property and does have high thresholds, sloping ceilings and low beams in places.
