Hempstead is a small, sleepy and pretty village just 2 miles from the picturesque Georgian market town of Holt with its selection of galleries, restaurants and independent shops. Surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Holt ridge, it is an ideal place to explore and is great for cycling, walking, bird watching, golf, sailing and fishing. The coast is only 5 miles away and the choice is quite diverse from the sandy beaches of Cromer and Sheringham to the shingle of Salthouse and the marshes of Blakeney and Cley. The ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle can be found in the adjoining village; alternatively you could walk to Selbrigg Lake where the River Glaven rises. Map Ref:  A6

This spacious flint cottage has been recently restored and refurbished with period furnishings. Situated in the centre of this pretty village it has a large rear garden which is children and pet friendly. With spacious accommodation and easy access to Holt and the North Norfolk coast this is an ideal location for all year round holidays. Shop: 2 miles  Pub: 0.5 mile

Pets: Up to four dogs are allowed at the property however, please respect the fact that they should be kept downstairs at all times and are not allowed on the furniture or beds. There are also four assorted dog beds, please provide your own dog blankets.
