Salhouse is a lovely village with many pretty cottages and 12th century church. A short walk from the village will bring you to Salhouse Broad, one of the renowned Norfolk Broads. Within a few miles of the village is Ranworth Broad, The Broads Wildlife centre, Wroxham, the capital of the Broads, with the historic city of Norwich just six miles away.  Boats and bikes can be hired locally to enable you to discover the delights of this area in depth. The village has a shop and two pubs which serve food. It adjoins the owner's own home and has use of their delightful, landscaped secluded garden with rural views.
