The bustling High Street provides a good selection of shops from which to purchase local produce, there is a regular market and farmers market and the town has various points of interest which include the town sign and unusual clock tower dating from 1679. Richmond Park Golf Club sits on the outskirts of the town in a rural setting. Watton is an excellent centre for exploring, enjoying a day's horse racing at Fakenham, the National Trust property at Oxburgh, Go Ape at Thetford Forest, the culture of the historic city of Norwich and the abundance of walking, cycling and bird watching opportunities the whole area has to offer.
