Brancaster and neighbouring Brancaster Staithe are lovely coastal villages, which have much to offer, making them ideal holiday locations at any time of the year. There is a wonderful sandy beach, numerous coastal and countryside walks, a golf course, a tennis court and excellent sailing from Brancaster Staithe. A little further along the coast there are many interesting bird reserves including Scolt Head, Titchwell and Holme next the Sea. There is a shop and a pub which serves food, in the village.
