Colkirk is a small, pretty village situated eleven miles from the quayside town of Wells-next-the-Sea, which boasts a wonderful sandy beach and just two miles from the market town of Fakenham with its good shopping facilities, restaurants, pubs, a sports centre with indoor bowls, a golf course and even a National Hunt racecourse. Also close by are the unspoilt coastal villages of Holkham, Cley and Blakeney. There is a good public house/restaurant in the village and shopping facilities are within two miles.
