Wereham is in a relatively undiscovered part of west Norfolk. With a village pond, shop and pub it has what many look for in a peaceful holiday. Close by is the bustling market town of Swaffham with its Eco-centre and shops. Also Castle Acre, with its beautiful castle ruins and abbey; the wonderful moated Oxburgh Hall  owned by the National Trust and travelling further back in time the Iceni Village – this is an area rich in history. Shopping in Kings Lynn, together with walking, bird watching and cycling on the coast or in the country side.  Map Ref: D3
