Roughton provides an ideal base for exploring the coast and countryside of North Norfolk. The seaside town of Cromer is only two miles away and has a lovely sandy beach, pier with its own theatre and traditional seafront entertainment. The area is rich in history and heritage with many museums and fine houses including Felbrigg Hall, which is only one mile away. There are lovely walks to be found close by, ranging from National Trust parkland to cliff-top walks as well as along country lanes and footpaths. The village has a shop, and pub which serves meals and one of the best fish & chip shops in the county, with further amenities available in Cromer. Map Ref: A6
                      
The Long Barn is a delightful Grade II listed barn conversion in an attractive setting on a small farm complex with rural views to the rear across fields. It is a spacious, well equipped property and has been furnished with attention to detail and comfort. Shop: 1 mile  Pub: 1 mile

Garden: The garden surrounds the property on three sides and is mainly laid to grass with mature flower beds and a very attractive uncovered pond. Above ground heated fifteen foot circular swimming pool available from May-Sept: leading round to decked area with large gas barbecue, gas patio heater and garden furniture.
Parking: Double garage, parking for four cars.
Heating: O.F.C.H.
Also Provided: Starter pack of fuel for the open fire. Towels, CDs, DVDs, videos, books and games.
Notes: Circular staircase leads from the ground floor to the mezzanine sitting room.
Due to the proximity of the pond, hot tub and the swimming pool young children should be supervised at all times.
For 2009 a £100 damages deposit is payable on arrival and will be sent back if no damage to property within 7 working days by cheque.
