Mattishall lies in the very heart of Norfolk, central to many of the county's attractions. There are a number of footpaths in the area with both fishing and golf available within four miles of the village. The market town of Dereham is five miles away and offers a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs as well as having a cinema and a sports centre. The Swallows is a newly built, spacious bungalow with interesting features which overlooks pasture land with sheep, goats and horses. It is situated on the edge of the village in a quiet, peaceful location. Within walking distance of the village amenities and local bus route to the nearby market town of Dereham and the beautiful cathedral city of Norwich.
