The village of Catfield is an excellent base for exploring the Norfolk Broads and the excellent beaches of the East Coast. The sandy beach of Sea Palling is a mere four miles away with Cromer, Sheringham and Great Yarmouth just a short drive. The Broads offer many experiences whether it is exploring a nature trail, cycling the quiet lanes, taking a stroll on a board walk, sailing or fishing in the river. The nearby town of Stalham is just two miles away offering a supermarket and a range of small shops, with the market town of North Walsham with its greater range of shops and sports facilities ten miles away.
