Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this peaceful holiday home sitting in the heart of the pretty village of Witton. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, this is a perfect accommodation option for families or groups of friends who want to explore the peaceful waterways of the Norfolk Broads together. Hop on a boat and spend a happy day soaking up magnificent views as you cruise along Horning's winding waterways; and in the evening, come home to the cottage’s quaint garden to light up the BBQ and enjoy a cocktail or two with your loved ones.
Step inside and you will be welcomed by a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area bathed in natural light and adorned with a beautiful beamed and vaulted ceiling. Slip onto a sofa and take a moment to make yourself at home before heading to the sleek kitchen to prepare a culinary masterpiece for your nearest and dearest. If you prefer to dine alfresco, head out into the garden, fire up the BBQ and gather everyone at the patio table. After dinner, treat yourself to a cocktail in the garden or spend a little time chilling out in front of the TV in the lounge area, before heading to one of two country-style bedrooms (one on the ground floor, one on the mezzanine) for a good night’s sleep.
Climb up the tower of Ranworth Church (6 miles) and you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Broads. Afterwards, stroll along the boardwalks of the neighbouring floating nature reserve in search of bittern, marsh harrier and bearded tit. Alternatively, head into the charming town of Wroxham (5.5 miles) – ‘The Gateway of the Norfolk Broads’ – to take a boat ride along the beautiful River Bure (7 miles).
