From this fabulous lodge you can easily walk, cycle, ride a steam train, play golf or cruise the waters of the Norfolk Broads – returning after your exertions to a serene and stylish getaway. It’s an ideal destination for a couple or small family, and you can even bring your dog, too.
This wonderful lodge has light and airy interiors with a laid-back, Scandi-modern vibe. Leave your boots in the hallway and chill out in the lounge (one of the seats is a sofa bed, should you require it), where you can switch on the Smart TV if you feel like streaming a favourite show. The sleek kitchen includes all the equipment you’ll need for preparing easy-going holiday meals, and you’re bound to want to hang out at the dining table swapping tales of your adventures or playing games. The high-quality bathroom is also on this floor, while laundry facilities are based in a separate room across the parking space. At bedtime, climb upstairs to find a king-size and a twin bedroom, each of which has a skylight set into a sloping ceiling. As for outdoor space, your enclosed garden includes a patio with dining furniture where you can enjoy a sundowner or an evening meal in the fresh Norfolk air.
This property can also be booked with Middle of Nowhere No.5 which is located next door making this great for large groups of friends or families, looking to holiday together but have their own separate space. Click the link here to view Middle of Nowhere NO.5.
Head out on foot or by bike along Marriott’s Way, which follows disused railway lines for 26 miles between Norwich and Aylsham. Golfers will enjoy a round at the Royal Norwich Golf Club, 2 miles, while a great family day out will take you on a heritage train ride from Whitwell and Reepham Station, also 2 miles. Spend a day on the golden sands at Cromer or Wells-next-the-Sea, both less than 25 miles away, or head to the gorgeous Broads, which can be accessed from Wroxham, 16 miles.
