For a replenishing holiday by the sea in Norfolk, stay at this sunny cottage just 350 metres from the beach in Cromer. It has a pleasant, airy atmosphere and space for up to four over its two rooms, making it ideal for a couple or a small family. Since Cromer is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you’ll find plenty of scenic walking and cycling opportunities in the vicinity and an abundance of wildlife, including rare breeding birds.

The inside of the apartment is decorated in gentle tones, with decorative touches reflecting its coastal location. In the light-filled open-plan living area, eat meals together at the bay window then relax on the sofas to enjoy something on the Smart TV. Meal prep is comfortable and easy in the well-equipped kitchen, which has a handy breakfast bar providing an extra space for snacking or sipping tea. Outside you’ll have your own private courtyard, furnished with a picnic bench. which is excellent for fresh-air dining or enjoying a morning coffee as you draw up a plan for the day. The space is decorated with planters and sunset views on fine evenings.

You’ll have everything you need in the streets surrounding the property, with independent shops, pubs and restaurants all within 350 metres. At the beach, you can spend afternoons surfing, stand-up paddleboarding or rock pooling, and perhaps wander along to Cromer’s Victorian pier (500 metres), which has a flourishing theatre at the end. There are plenty of excellent options for day trips, such as the National Trust sites at Felbrigg Estate and Gardens (2 miles) and Sheringham Park (5.5 miles).

Very comfy apartment. Great location, amenity all close by, easy walking distance. Morrisons supermarket just across the nearby carpark.

Sandcastles was a lovely property to stay at. We thought it was spacious, comfy and really well-equipped. The location has to be best of all though - so quick to walk to the beach or town centre. We had only visited Cromer for the day previously but it was great to come back for a full week. We found lots to do for our family of four (kids aged 2 aRead morend 7) and some lovely places for eating and shopping. We hope that we will visit again. Hide

We had a fantastic stay at Sandcastles in Cromer. We haven't stayed in Cromer before and the location of this flat was perfect! The flat was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and also items to be able clean and tidy. The children loved the books and games provided and the bunk beds. Sandcastles is a very nice property in a perfect spot in Cromer close to the beach with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The owners have made every effort to enable their guests to have a lovely time with comfortable furniture, a well equipped kitchen and a much appreciated welcome gift waiting for us on arrival. Highly recommended.

The best thing about this property is the location. 5 mins walk to everything. Station, supermarket, beach and town are all so close! Property is well equipped with utensils, cookware, glassware etc and even can provide a travel cot and high chair. We had a great time in Cromer!
