For a romantic adventure, head to Beccles (9 miles) and hop aboard a scenic boat tour along the River Waveney, or embark on one of the many walking trails beside the river for something more active. The Broads National Park offers a further selection of walking trails and waterways spanning 125 miles in total, including Weavers’ Way and Angles Way, both of which can be joined at Great Yarmouth (17 miles). Great Yarmouth itself is also a fantastic, nostalgic seaside destination with amusements, 15 miles of sandy shore and two picturesque piers.
