This sweet getaway for two is in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, on the outskirts of the village of Briston. The popular seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham are within 15 miles, and the market town of Holt is 5.5 miles away. Other nearby attractions include the National Trust properties of Felbrigg (14 miles) and Blickling Hall (8.5 miles). After a day of exploring, relax in the attractive, shared garden, sipping a sundowner or sharing an al fresco meal.

The single-story bolthole is attached to the owner''s property and has a simple, contemporary style with neutral decor and delicate accessories. At the heart of the home is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, enjoying peaceful views across the garden. Relax here, snuggled up on the sofa watching TV, trying new recipes in the kitchen area, or sharing romantic dinners for two at the cute dining table. When it''s time for bed, retire to the pretty double bedroom which benefits from its own en-suite shower room. Outside, dine alfresco at the picnic table in the shared, lawned garden, enjoying the peaceful, rural setting.

Heading north, you''ll soon reach the bustling seaside town of Sheringham (12 miles) on the Norfolk coast. Spend time here, soaking up the sunshine on the sandy beach or perhaps hire one of the colourful beach huts for the full holiday experience. The town has a great range of independent pubs, cafes, and restaurants, as well as a museum and theatre. Sheringham Park National Trust (9.5 miles) makes a lovely day out, with waymarked trails, tranquil picnic spots, and observation towers with far-reaching coastal views.

The property was in a very quiet area and use of part of the garden was a bonus. It was very clean and well maintained. We would use again if we decide to visit the area again.
