Gather nearest and dearest for a stay at this stunning countryside abode. Raising the bar for barn conversions, it combines all the attention to detail you’d expect of high-end boutique accommodation, with a host of features for a fabulous holiday. The wow-factor starts the moment you step into the double-height entrance hall – which has exposed beams, carved columns and a flagstone floor – and follows through to the spacious sitting room where doors on either side give access to the gardens and allow in lots of natural light. The kitchen is at the heart of every country home and the one here is sure to be the centre of much activity; there’s an electric Aga to inspire the cooks in your party (private catering can be arranged as an alternative) plus a wine cooler fridge and Gaggia bean-to-cup coffee machine for refreshments to suit every taste. Laundry equipment is alongside a chest freezer in the utility room, and for mealtimes there’s elbow room for everyone in the elegant dining room which also has doors onto the courtyard garden. All seven sumptuous bedrooms here have towelling robes, Smart TVs and their own character. On the ground floor one has twin sleigh beds, doors to the courtyard garden and an en-suite shower room, while another has a king-size four-poster bed and doors to the courtyard garden too. There’s a Gothic-styled king-size bedroom with its own en-suite cloakroom, a double bedroom and a further king-sized bedroom with doors to the courtyard garden. A shower room and a family bathroom with bath and separate shower offer convenience and versatility for all. Upstairs, the galleried landing area has seating and views over the pond and hot tub outdoors. Two bedrooms share the first-floor layout – one has a vaulted ceiling, king-size bed, Juliet balcony overlooking the courtyard garden and an en-suite shower room, while the other has twin beds, a vaulted ceiling, full-length windows overlooking the pond, and an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath. The outside space here is equally impressive – enjoy food and drinks al fresco in the courtyard garden, chill out in the garden room or stretch your legs with a stroll around the extended grounds where there’s a lawn, BBQ area, hot tub, pond with decking, access to the owner's tennis courts (racquets and balls are supplied) and 33 acres of grassland to explore. Borrow a bike or bring your own (secure storage is available) and if you’re a horse owner, livery can also be arranged.

If you can tear yourself away from this gorgeous holiday home, in the next village Tibenham offers a gliding club where you can soar through the skies and see the breath taking views from above of East Anglian countryside. the historic city of Norwich is 15 miles away and full of shops, bars and eateries to satisfy every taste, or enjoy a day out or evening out on the dry ski slopes which is great for adults or children. Or perhaps if you enjoy spending your time out on the golf course, visit Dunston Hall for a 18 hole course, or Barnham Broom where they have 2, 18 hole courses to play. If you are on a family getaway why not take your kids to Banham Zoo where you can find animals from giraffes, tigers and penguins. Locally, enjoy rural walking and cycling with your party beneath the vast Norfolk skies.

A striking and lovely place to stay, with a welcoming kitchen and a roomy sitting room alongside many other things. We enjoyed the tennis court, which is in good condition.

The cottage and grounds are both beautifully kept and comfortable. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Lots of attention to detail that made our stay great. Also fab to arrive to a homemade cake - delicious!

The property was absolutely perfect for our group of friends. The location was idyllic, and the property was beautiful. We had plans for the week so didn't take up any of the opportunities for archery, glider flights, etc, but they sounded fantastic. We did use the hot tub, which was lovely, and had a barbeque despite the cooler March weather! The Read morebedrooms were all very comfortable and the living area was perfect for our group size of eight people. We really appreciated the cake, wine and coffee beans, which were all very thoughtful touches. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone. Hide

The Granary was the perfect for a multi generation celebration. Everybody from two to late 60s had an amazing time. It was spacious, luxuriously appointed, spotlessly clean with quirky features. It had everything we needed, only clothes and personal items need to be packed. The Internet connection was very good. There was a secure courtyard to coRead morentain the smaller children, and fields and a wood for the older children (and adults) to play hide and seek, cricket, badminton etc etc. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Cannot praise this property enough and would thoroughly recommend it and hope to stay there again. Hide

The venue, location, and quality of amenity were totally perfect for our party of friends, family and business associates to celebrate their friendships with my daughter. We had the most wonderful couple of days playing games, walking and using all the facilities including the hot tub. The property is eclectic, very comfortable and spotlessly cleanRead more and in the most beautiful area of South Norfolk surrounded by open fields and footpaths perfect for walking. All rooms are extremely comfortable, many of them with their own en-suites which allowed our party to be together but with sufficient space to allow for privacy. We also hired a private chef to cater for our party and using the Aga, he pulled together a sumptuous celebration banquet. Hide

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at The Granary. The house was beautiful, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it catered for all our needs perfectly! Location wise it was idyllic and so peaceful - but only a short walk away from a friendly and bustling local pub too. We would love to return again in the future!
