Located in the beautiful Norfolk countryside on a working farm, with the owners’ resident horses and chickens for added company, there is no better place to relax and recharge your batteries than this cosy cottage.

Cosy to the core, this rustic farmhouse-style cottage benefits from an unspoilt, rural location with picturesque walks and cycleways around the beautiful Norfolk countryside right on your doorstep.

After adventuring the surrounding countryside and coastline, no better remedy to soothe tired walking muscles is the expansive yet ultra-cosy open plan living/kitchen/dining room, complete with a high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams that reflect the atmosphere of the working farm that surrounds you. Whip up a locally sourced meal in the contemporary farmhouse-style kitchen to enjoy special family time around the rustic wooden dining table. As the cool evening air draws in, fire up the statement wood burner to keep paws and toes toasty as you hunker down on one of the comfy sofas and enjoy a film night around the Smart TV. The extra special attention to detail is carried through to the master en-suite bedroom and further two bedrooms, which all benefit from a welcome cool colour palette to send you to sleep peacefully. Enjoy tranquil views towards the pastures where the owners' horses graze as you dine alfresco in the enclosed patio area way past bedtime.

West of East Dereham and south of Fakenham, the traditional village of Beeston offers a peaceful rural base to explore the wonders this part of Norfolk has to offer. Pack a picnic and head 22 miles to reach the spectacular coastline for a quintessentially seaside family day out; Holkham beach is one of the most unspoilt stretches of sand in the country, offering a rich National Nature Reserve to explore, and Burnham Overy Staithe beach forms part of the Norfolk Coast Path. Spot barn owls, rabbits and grey squirrels around the grounds of Castle Acre Priory (9 miles), one of the largest and best-preserved monastic sites in England dating back to 1090.

Excellent facilities, good location for visits to the coast and Kings Lynn. Low fence around the allocated garden area so not secure for a medium to large dog but it was fine for our placid Border Terrier. Pleasant patio area if you get good weather.

This cottage was absolutely lovely, as are the owners who were also very helpful. The cottage was in a good location to travel out and explore Norfolk and I would suggest perhaps that staying in central Norfolk was better than staying nearer the coast as you get the best of the coastal villages as well as being reasonably close to the Broads . Lovely cottage in the middle of the countryside ideal for rest and getting away from the rat race. The cottage itself is beautiful and it has been well thought out with all the equipment you could wish for during your stay. Decorated to a very high standard with all the mod cons but retaining the character of the cottage.

A fabulous, comfortable cottage, beautifully decked out, in a very peaceful location. Friendly and helpful owners on site. A suitable cottage for my mum who is less mobile; she had the bedroom with the en-suite with a very slight incline into her bathroom, but managed fine. We had a lovely stay thank you.
