This cottage is located close to Weybourne village centre, just a few hundred metres from the shop, tearoom, and pub. Continue through the village to discover the shingle beach which lies just 0.5 miles from the property which is a popular spot with anglers. For one of the region’s most spectacular sandy beaches, head west around the coast to the harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea some 14 miles away, or alternatively pay a visit to Cromer, a traditional seaside resort which lies just 8 miles east of the cottage.
Three external steps lead to the front door of this cottage, which opens into the cosy lounge/diner where guests can immediately make themselves at home on the comfortable sofa. In the evenings, light the woodburner and cosy up with a favourite film on the TV/DVD. In the kitchen the flagstone floor brings an authentic character to the room which is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer. There is also a second dining table in the kitchen with seating for two: an ideal spot for enjoying a morning coffee. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Steep cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has twin beds which can be pushed together to form a double, and is a homely room overlooking the front of the property. The second bedroom, meanwhile, is a peaceful single room. Please be aware that the period and style of the property means that there is a sloping ceiling and some reduced head-height in the first-floor rooms.
Outside there is a lawned garden to the rear of the property, as well as a pleasant patio with garden furniture providing guests with a place to enjoy relaxed al fresco drinks during the summer months. There is parking provided for two cars.
