Bursting with charm inside and out, this country-style cottage is a perfect base for families with up to two dogs. Retaining much of its original charm in the form of exposed beams and a wood burner, with modern updates throughout, this property feels like home from the moment you step inside. What’s more, for days out on the coast, Mundesley Beach is just half a mile away offering access to the lengthy Norfolk Coast Path.
Inviting you in to kick back and relax, the living room has been tastefully styled in natural hues with two comfortable sofas and a large dining table seating four. Light pours into the space through the front door and window during the daytime, whilst the wood burner effect electric fire creates a warming glow in the evening. Next door, the kitchen is similarly styled with everything you’ll need to cook up your family’s favourite foods during your stay. There is also a bathroom located on the ground floor, complete with a bathtub and a separate shower for convenience. Upstairs, bedroom one is a charming space with a double bed and matching furniture whilst bedroom two is a twin bedroom, suitable for both adults and children. Outside, the garden is an enclosed courtyard area with a table and chairs for al fresco dining and a selection of mature plants which give it an oasis-like feel.
Keen golfers will enjoy the nine-hole course on the outskirts of the village (half a mile), where you can enjoy unrivalled views over the coast and countryside while you play. Heading out of the village is Stow Mill (1 mile), a flour mill open to visitors, and slightly further afield, you'll find Southrepps Common (4 miles), home to woodland trails packed with local wildlife. Another must-visit is the famous Norfolk Broads (15 miles), where the whole family will enjoy navigating the lock-free waterways and soaking up the serenity of the area.
