This charming cottage, set within the grounds of Worstead’s village pub, is the perfect retreat for those looking to explore the Norfolk Broads and the heritage coastline. Sleeping four guests, the property is ideal for both families and groups of friends, with a sociable, open-plan layout for spending quality time together. Nearby days out include the seaside resort of Cromer (12 miles) and the waterside town of Wroxham (6.5 miles).

The former stables have been beautifully renovated to create a warm and welcoming holiday retreat. The contemporary decor is bright and cheerful, and you’ll find a myriad of creature comforts to make your stay as relaxed as possible. A characterful stable door leads inside, where you’ll discover a spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. Spend time here, testing out new recipes in the kitchen area and sharing memorable mealtimes around the wooden dining table. After dinner, relax in the comfortable lounge area to watch TV. There is a ground-floor shower room and a further shower room upstairs. The two inviting double bedrooms are also located on the first floor. Outside, guests are welcome to use the pub gardens and there is also a village playground nearby.

Spend a day on the water in Wroxham, where you’ll find many boat hire and river cruise companies enabling you to explore the pretty network of waterways. There is also a fantastic array of independent restaurants in the town, many with views across the water. The coastal resort of Cromer is 12 miles away, and has a Victorian pier, sandy beach, and traditional seaside shops and eateries. Alternatively, escape the crowds at one of the quieter beaches (such as Mundesley or East Runton), or blow the cobwebs away on an exhilarating walk along the Norfolk Coast Path.

Lovely cottage in an interesting village. Less than 10 minutes from Wroxham and The Broads. Beautiful countryside and easy distance to the coast. A great pub with food next door but it caused no disturbance. Excellent showers. A very good base for exploring north Norfolk.
