Butterfield House is a 16th century property and is full of character. Located along the River Waveney and offering spectacular views of the river and marshes beyond. Moorings are available at the bottom of the large garden with patio area and barbecue next to the river in addition to the courtyard garden with shallow pond and patio areas surrounding the house. This house has many hundreds of years history and is one of the oldest buildings within the town Butterfield House is close to all amenities and an ideal place for families and friends to gather. The main gardens are shared with the owners are very extensive and individual private areas for Butterfield House have been allocated around the garden. Butterfield House has a large riverside patio area measuring approximately 40' x 30' with a large gas barbecue. The garden is equipped with an outside music system.
Parking: Private for two cars only. Additional private parking may be possible by prior arrangement with the owner.

Pets: Pets are welcome, although owner has a dog. It is advised to keep pets on a lead when necessary. However they can run freely within the patio areas of the holiday cottage and within the garden.
Also Provided: WiFi, Towels, games, travel cot, ping pong, trampoline and various other garden games. Rowing boat and oars available for guests' use during May to September which they do at their own risk.
Beccles is a popular holiday destination situated on the Norfolk Broads, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Beccles is an extremely attractive medieval market town situated by the river Waveney, which runs along the town boundary. The town offers excellent exploration to the Norfolk Broads and has some of the most beautiful stretches of river within the Norfolk Broads National Park. Amongst various boating activities, there are also riverside walks, outdoor swimming pool, golf course and many attractive surrounding villages. Beccles town has a complex of good town pubs and excellent restaurants, surrounded by quaint shops offering a variety of gifts and produce. Beccles is an ideal base to explore the sandy beaches, woodlands and parks of Norfolk and Suffolk. There is also has a train station and bus depot.
