17 & 18 The Green are two brick and flint cottages which have been tastefully restored, retaining many original features including pine floorboards and period fireplaces. East and West Rudham villages flow into each other and are situated in a very pretty area of West Norfolk. East Rudham has a lovely village green with a "gastro" pub and one of the most visited shops in Norfolk. Stately homes abound with Houghton Hall and Holkham in the area. The market town of Fakenham has an excellent market on a Thursday and a visit to the auction rooms on the same day, can be very educational! The sandy beaches of Wells, Hunstanton and Holme are a short distance by car and of course there is excellent bird watching at both Titchwell and Holme nature reserves.
