Happisburgh (pronounced Haisbro) is a seaside village on the North East Coast of Norfolk, famous for its red and white lighthouse. It offers visitors a quiet, rural location, sandy beaches and cliff-top walks. The village has a post office/store and a traditional coaching inn and is within a 15-minute drive of the market towns of North Walsham and Stalham with easy access to the Norfolk Broads and many other tourist attractions.

In past years, Church Farm has been a favoured holiday location for famous artists such as Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicholson and Ivon Hitchens, keen to relax in a rural idyll. The large grain barn and stables have been sympathetically converted to retain character and create four beautiful cottages, which all have exposed flint walls and old beams. There is a large recreation barn (9am-8pm) offering a racket sports area, a pool table, table tennis table and a comfortable seating area with books and games. Each cottage has its own door allowing access directly into the recreation barn. Shop: 0.25 miles Pub: 0.25 miles

We are writing on behalf of all who came with us to your cottages over Christmas. Without exception everyone had a wonderful - nay, unforgetable - time. The accomodation was spacious, clean, faultless and warm throughout including the Barn itself. You certainly have a gem of a complex there, which you have put to the very best of use with clearly a lot of thought and detail applied to make everything exceptionally welcoming and amenable. No-one who came along has anything but praise for the way you had arranged and organised everthing ready for us - chairs, tables, and a fully decked Christmas tree in each house as well as the Barn. It all contributed to a joyous family holiday which none of can yet stop talking about.

Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. It was in a lovely location and had easy access to North Norfolk.
