The rural village of Ingworth lies within the conservation area belonging to the National Trust's Blickling Hall Estate. It is ideally situated for walking any of the waymarked routes through the estate and beyond through some of England's finest meadowland. Within one mile you can walk by Blickling Lake and the Hall itself, along the River Bure, through tree-lined footpaths and acres of woodland. Within an eight mile radius you can visit the North Norfolk coastal towns of Cromer and Sheringham, and the historic city of Norwich. The famous Broads are easily accessible by road or steam railway from the ancient market town of Aylsham just one and a half miles from Ingworth. Excellent pubs and restaurants are easily accessible in Aylsham and surrounding villages. There is a local swimming pool available for private hire.
