The quiet village of Filby is beautiful in summer with its floral displays and is a proud winner of Anglia in Bloom. It is well known for Filby Broad, which together with neighbouring Ormesby and Rollesby forms what is called The Trinity Broads. Although there are now no navigable links with the River Bure, this is still a beautiful stretch of water with walkways, a picnic site and a bird observation hide. Using Filby as a base you can enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside and the Broads as well as the lively resort of Great Yarmouth. Horse riding and fishing are available in the village, which has shops, a pub and restaurant.

Built in 1830 this renovated cottage is just half a mile from Filby Broad. It is attractively presented with pine furniture and provides warm and cosy accommodation. Shop: 0.5 miles Pub: 0.5 miles
