Wroxham and Hoveton are at the very heart of Broadland, and excellent locations for fishing, sailing and bird watching. The River Bure divides the two villages, commonly called Wroxham. It is home to the Bure Valley Railway, Wroxham Barns and Roys, 'the biggest village store in the world'. Both day boat hire and sailing tuition are available locally. It is also just seven miles from Norwich, with the sandy beaches of the East Coast within a twenty minute drive.

Providing an ideal base for discovering the Broadland area is this comfortable and homely detached bungalow (steps on entry). It has good-size gardens, which adjoin the owner's gardens, where they have guinea pigs and an aviary. Shop: 700 yds (garage shop - basic provisions) Pub: 1 mile
