We loved the stairs, balcony and floor,
Kitchen table and stable door,
We loved the garden and the trees,
That Tim kept climbing and got dirty knees!
The Herons came, as did the hare,
But alas, no kingfisher in the air,
We will have to come another year,
and hope that then he will appear!
