In the summer of 2008,
We had a holiday that was really great,
In a watermill by a stream,
The kind of place of which you dream.
We loved the stairs, balcony and floor,
Kitchen table and stable door,
We loved the garden and the trees,
That Tim kept climbing and got dirty knees!
The Herons came, as did the hare,
But alas, no kingfisher in the air,
We will have to come another year,
and hope that then he will appear!
Thank you for this lovely home,
That secretly we would like to own,
Its been a week of family fun,
and even better the sun has shone.
