Located in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, eight miles between historic Norwich and the lively seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, lies the village of Acle. Situated on the River Bure you can enjoy a days boat hire to explore the river or take a peaceful walk along its banks. Ranworth & South Walsham Broads are a short distance as is Fairhaven Water Gardens, a very enjoyable day out. This really is a great location to enjoy the numerous bird reserves that the area has. Walkers of all calibre, will enjoy the nearby Weavers Way, or the many footpaths in the locality. The village has a good selection of shops and pubs.
