Gayton is an excellent base for discovering the many and varied attractions of North West Norfolk. The beach at Snettisham is eleven miles away and a little further along the coast is the popular seaside resort of Hunstanton which, as well as the sandy beach, has seafront entertainment. The Sandringham Estate is just eight miles away. The village itself has shops, a fish and chip shop and two pubs which serve food. Further amenities including shops, restaurants, a cinema and a sports centre are available at Kings Lynn, which is eight miles away.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday at the Annexe, Gayton. The property was very clean and airy, with a very welcoming owner and family and a welcome pack awaited us. I would recommend to anyone with a pet, a tall husband and young children - although there is a pond in the large garden.
