Bawdeswell is an historic village, mentioned by Chaucer in the 14th Century. It is situated at the heart of the county, central to the many attractions of Norfolk. The fine city of Norwich is fourteen miles away and with the market town of Fakenham ten miles. The beautiful North Norfolk coastline and the famous Norfolk Broads are also within easy reach. The nature reserves at Sparham Pools and Foxley Wood are both less than four miles away and the area is ideal for walkers with the Marriott's Way nearby. Bawdeswell has an excellent village shop and also a pub.

Jotts Cottage is a very attractive detached single storey cottage, tucked away behind the owner's house, with its own private garden. Built of traditional brick and flint, it has been expertly converted from the old dairy and milking parlour and retains many original features including beamed ceilings. The accommodation is tastefully furnished, very well equipped and maintained to a high standard. Jotts Cottage and The Boffey (1169) are adjacent and are ideal for two couples wishing to travel together but wanting to retain their individual privacy. Shop: 0.5 miles Pub: 0.5 miles
