Bracon Ash is a quiet rural village surrounded by lovely countryside and yet it is just six miles from the historic city of Norwich with its quiet lanes, diverse shopping, theatres and restaurants. Wymondham, an attractive, historic market town has a delightful Abbey church and interesting architecture and is just minutes from the village. Further afield you can access the famous Broads at Loddon or Norwich. The Suffolk Heritage Coast at Southwold is an easy drive and a definite "must see" with its famous pier. The area offers something for everybody; excellent off road cycling and walking at Thetford, the more adventurous may wish to try the "Go Ape" experience, the nature reserve at Redgrave and Lopham Fen and also Mid Yare nature reserve. This is a great area for all ages and is certainly a year round destination.
