Honingham is a pretty village surrounded by undulating countryside on the edge of the Wensum Valley with an excellent pub which serves good food. Only eight miles from Norwich, it offers an excellent base from which to explore the county. There are five golf courses within easy driving distance: Barnham Broom, Reymerston and Weston Park, where you can also enjoy the Dinosaurs, are just three. The beautiful North Norfolk Coast is an easy drive as are the renowned Norfolk Broads.

Amber's Barn is light and spacious. It offers accommodation furnished in a contemporary style in a barn conversion with character. Situated in the grounds of the owner's home, it is surrounded by countryside and is a location that offers tranquil surroundings with excellent walks, cycling on the doorstep and national cycle route seven in the area. For the fishing enthusiast, Barford Lakes and Catch 22 Lakes at Lyng Easthaugh are just a short distance away. Shop: 3 miles Pub: 0.75 miles

A truly lovely place to stay. So well located for the coast, country and broads. The peace and quiet has been so welcome and the walk over the road past the horses was ideal after dinner.

Immaculate, spacious accommodation and so well equipped, we lacked for nothing. It has been a real delight to stay here and we particulary appreciated the peaceful location and have enjoyed walking along the quiet little lanes. What a glorious week at Ambers Barn. Perfect accommodation and well equipped. We had a fabulous meal at the Ugly Bug Inn. Holt is well worth a visit and we had a great time on the Norfolk Broads. We did not want to go home.
