This is an ideal area to nuture your own artistic ambitions too; bring your paints, canvasses or camera and capture your own images of the wonderful flora and fauna that's all around.

It has always been greatly loved by the people of Norfolk, and was recently voted Norfolk's favourite building. The work of today's Cathedral community remains grounded in the principles of its Benedictine founders - worship, learning and hospitality.

Strupshaw Steam Museum The Museum was opened at this site in 1954 when the engines were moved here from North Walsham where the engine collection as it was then was previously housed, and it was in this year also that the first engine, a Marshall was purchased. The Museum houses what is believed to be the largest private collection of steam engines in the UK. Many of the engines housed here are still in good working order.

Dragon HallPeople have been living and working on the Dragon Hall site for at least one thousand years. This was a desirable place to live. It was sandwiched between two major lines of communication, King Street and the river Wensum. We have decided to focus upon four different periods to show how the site has developed over the centuries.
