Victoria Maguire - Homeowner Liaison Team
Victoria moved from St Albans to the North Norfolk coast in 2010 and joined NCC in 2011. Victoria’s passion has always been in the areas of Customer service, Marketing and Property. She has previously worked in the Marketing department of Post Office Counters Ltd and the Customer Services department of the YHA Head Office as a Team Leader. Victoria has worked as an Estate Agent (a nice one!) and more recently has renovated 2 properties for rental and sale.
Favourite Place: Brancaster Beach
Having extensively explored coastal areas in Britain, including Devon, Cornwall, Sussex and Suffolk I was finally ‘wowed’ and seduced by the expansive beaches of North Norfolk. I took the bold ‘It’s now or never step’ in 2010 to make the move here. I have not looked back for 1 minute.
To a certain extent I am still a tourist and to be honest I never want to stop being one, for there is always something to explore with fresh eyes.
My favourite place so far is Brancaster Beach. Early in the morning on a cold, crisp, sunny winter’s day. Myself and Dodger the dog feeling like we’ve landed in heaven – with the beach all to ourselves…miles and miles and miles of it. No two consecutive days are ever the same. So windy you can’t stand up one day, so sunny you want Pimms and a picnic the next. A close 2nd comes the walk from Holkham along the beach to the beach huts at Wells and then back through the pine forest ending up with a well -deserved tea and cake at the Rose garden Café on the Holkham Estate.
