The BirdcageVery trendy – two words which sum up The Birdcage. The piano out the back often has someone playing while everyone else chills-out on the variety of seating including sofas and armchairs. This popular drinking venue has a good selection of cocktails, but food is limited to nibbles, cupcakes, and a selection of traditional sweets. The Bicycle ShopThis quirky eatery and bar, tucked away in St Benedicts Street, has fantastic food and is very good value for money. Their cheese board is highly recommended as an accompaniment to their selection of wines. It is said the decor here transports you to paris, with the atmosphere of a terraced French cafe.
